I do eventually manage to connect to my ps3's dir listings but each response time takes upto minimum 30secs and between this time my filezilla freezes or states "Not Responding" and after around 2 mins, it starts working again although entering a different folder will cause the same problem again. Response:đ50 Using existing connection - ready to start listing Response:Ē57 Current working directory is "/" Response:ĕ02 Unimplemented or invalid command Response:Ē15 UNIX Type: L8 Version: scee_ps3_ftpd-1.0.3 Response:Ē20 Copyright (c) 2007 Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. If you have a weird file, ripped incorrectly or if perhaps one bit was in a bad sector, it can cause weird issues like this even with cpu to cpu transfer. Are There Any changes i need to make on my laptop's settings?įrom what I understand, i believe this is the log entry you guys are after: Filezilla does a few things in the background, and I think it somehow processes the files internally before transfer from the way it acts/handles. I tested my sisters Laptop and her's connects straight away to my ps3 but my laptop is too slow whilst FTP'ing. I've changed my ethernet wire, i've tried using FTP PS3 + blackboxFTP, i've also tried Filezilla and flashfxp but still the same problem. It was working instantly for the past 4-5 months but been causing problems these past few days. I don't remember changing any settings on my laptop or my ps3 and im using a wired connection. its like it just hangs before i can get into the folder. For a few days now i've been experiencing a weird problem with my FTP connection, where it takes over a minute to browse/navigate between each folder (from folder to folder) within my ps3.Īnd the worst part is the beginning phase where after connecting to my ps3, it takes a few mins just to display all my ps3's folder directory Listings and then it'll take another minute to browse within each of the respective folders.
